  • An educational tool for developing and testing trading skills.
  • A digital training and entertainment product.
  • A platform for interactive and gamified trading practice.
  • A way to practice using historical market data without risking real money.

What MyTraderLab Is Not

MyTraderLab is not:

  • A broker, broker-dealer, or brokerage service.
  • A financial institution or financial services provider.
  • An investment adviser or investment advisory service.
  • A securities, futures, forex, or cryptocurrency exchange.
  • A provider of personalized investment recommendations.

No Real-Money Trading

No real-money trading takes place through MyTraderLab.

All trading activity within MyTraderLab is simulated. The platform uses historical market data to create trading practice scenarios. Users do not buy, sell, own, or transfer actual securities, futures, currencies, cryptocurrencies, or other financial instruments through MyTraderLab.

No customer funds are deposited with MyTraderLab for trading purposes, and MyTraderLab does not execute or route orders to financial markets.

Any profits, losses, account balances, positions, performance statistics, scores, or other results displayed within MyTraderLab are simulated and have no real-world monetary value.

Educational, Training, and Entertainment Purposes Only

MyTraderLab is provided solely for educational, training, simulation, and entertainment purposes.

Although MyTraderLab may help users practice trading concepts, chart analysis, market scenarios, and trading strategies, use of the platform should not be considered a substitute for professional financial education, investment advice, or independent research.

MyTraderLab uses historical market data for simulation and practice purposes. Historical market behavior and simulated performance do not predict or guarantee future market behavior or real-world trading results.

Past performance, whether actual or simulated, is not indicative of future results.

No Financial or Investment Advice

Nothing provided through MyTraderLab constitutes financial, investment, trading, tax, accounting, or legal advice.

MyTraderLab does not provide personalized recommendations regarding whether to buy, sell, hold, or otherwise transact in any security, futures contract, currency, cryptocurrency, or other financial instrument.

Any educational materials, examples, indicators, chart patterns, simulated scenarios, statistics, analytics, or other information provided through MyTraderLab are presented for general educational and simulation purposes only and should not be interpreted as a recommendation or solicitation to engage in any particular investment or trading activity.

You should not rely solely on information, simulated results, or performance obtained through MyTraderLab when making real-world financial, investment, or trading decisions. You should conduct your own research and, when appropriate, consult a qualified financial, tax, or legal professional.

Simulated Results and Historical Data

Simulated trading involves important limitations.

Simulated results do not represent actual trading and may not accurately reflect the impact of factors that affect real-world trading, including market liquidity, slippage, order execution, commissions, fees, spreads, latency, market volatility, emotional decision-making, and other market conditions.

Historical market data may also contain inaccuracies, omissions, delays, adjustments, or other limitations.

MyTraderLab does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of historical market data or simulated results.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your own real-world financial, investment, and trading decisions.

Any knowledge, experience, strategies, techniques, or skills developed through the use of MyTraderLab are applied to real-world trading entirely at your own discretion and risk.

MyTraderLab, its owners, creators, operators, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not responsible for trading losses, investment losses, lost profits, or other financial consequences arising from decisions you make outside the MyTraderLab simulated environment.

Real-world trading and investing involve substantial risk and may result in the loss of some or all of your invested capital.

Premium Subscriptions

MyTraderLab may offer paid subscriptions that provide access to additional or enhanced simulator features, practice sessions, historical data, analytics, educational features, or other functionality.

Payment for a MyTraderLab subscription purchases access to the MyTraderLab digital software service and its applicable features only.

A MyTraderLab subscription does not provide:

  • A brokerage or real-money trading account.
  • Access to execute trades in financial markets.
  • Investment management services.
  • Financial or investment advice.
  • Personalized trading recommendations.
  • Trading signals.
  • Ownership of securities or other financial instruments.
  • Any guarantee of trading or investment performance.

Subscription fees are fees for access to the MyTraderLab software and its features and are not deposits, investments, trading capital, or funds held on a user’s behalf.

No Guarantee of Trading Success

MyTraderLab does not guarantee that use of the platform will improve your trading performance or result in profitable real-world trading.

Success within a simulated environment does not mean that the same results can or will be achieved when trading with real money.

No representation or guarantee is made regarding future trading performance, profitability, investment returns, or financial results.

No Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyTraderLab and its services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

MyTraderLab does not warrant that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, completely accurate, secure, or free from technical problems.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyTraderLab and its owners, creators, operators, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost trading opportunities, investment losses, loss of data, or other losses arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, MyTraderLab.

MyTraderLab is not responsible for losses or damages resulting from real-world trading or investment decisions made by users, regardless of whether those decisions were influenced by information, practice, simulations, statistics, or other content available through MyTraderLab.
